I make tye dye using an ice dye technique. the items are tyed up using various techniques. Then I apply ice to the item and sprinkle a procion powder dye over the ice. the items then have to sit for 24-48 hours before they get rinsed out. Items will not fade. The procion dye bonds to the fabric ensuring the dye doesn't fade.
